Editing user s2Member levels, account info, and profiles
To edit user information, profiles, and capabilities, certain changes can only be made through Formidable and certain things only through WordPress.
To edit a user’s s2Member level:
Go to Users in the WordPress section of the left-hand sidebar. Once there, you will see a list of all the site’s registered users, and at the top of the list clickable titles for each level of access that has been assigned to users so far (Administrator, s2Member Level 2, s2Member Level 3, etc.) with a number next to it indicating how many users have been assigned this level of access. Click on each level title to bring up a list the users with that access level.
To change a user’s s2Member level, check the box next his or her name and click on the dropdown at the top of the page that says “Change role to…” Select the desired s2Member level in this list, and click the “Change” button next to it to complete the action. If you want to change multiple users’ s2Member level at once, just check multiple names before completing a bulk action edit in the same way.
To edit user account information (e.g., email address, username):
Go to Formidable > Entries and select the User – Accounts form from the dropdown. Click on the relevant ID in the list to access and edit any user’s account details and update their registered name, email address, username, password, and the user ID to which these account details are is attached.
To edit user profile information (e.g. about the user):
Go to Formidable > Entries and select the User – Profiles form from the dropdown. Click on the desired user’s name under the ‘Your name’ column to access his or her profile. From here, you can make changes to users’ profile information, such as their associated photo or the ‘About’ section.
